Fundraising

Fund raising is a critical component of our efforts to provide services to our local and international communities.  Currently, our major fundraising event is Golf Island that is held in conjunction with Lakefair every July.  Funds are raised by selling chances to get a hole-in-one by hitting floating golf balls at our island green, and by the generous sponsorship of local businesses and individuals in our community.  Participation at Golf Island has become a tradition associated with the club, but it is important that we keep exploring alternative fundraising strategies.  The following are some examples of our fund raising experiences.
