Interested In Joining?
Interested in joining a Rotary Club, or our West Olympia Rotary Club in particular? (Here are 20 Reasons to Join Rotary.) You can contact any club and ask them how to join, or simply use this "Join Rotary" link on the Rotary International website. A link to each of the eight other Rotary Clubs in Thurston County is available by clicking on the "Other Rotary Links" menu item above, and for our West Olympia Rotary Club, you can use our West Olympia Rotary Club Membership Application Form, also available in the left-hand column under "Documents to Download".
Here are some things prospective members need to know:
- Rotary is a grassroots organization that carries out meaningful service work through its clubs.
- Club members hold (or are retired from) professional positions and have been actively involved in community affairs.
- Each Rotary club makes its own membership decisions.
- With the exception of Rotary e-clubs, which are by definition global, members typically live in or near the community where the club is located.
- Rotary clubs typically meet weekly, and they may have attendance requirements.
- Members are welcome to visit, or make up for a missed meeting, at any Rotary club anywhere in the world.
- Members pay annual dues.
